CEU Policies and Certificates
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
SIGNature CEUs offers professional development activities designed to support ethical, effective, and sustainable practice. Eligible activities may offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in alignment with the RID Continuing Maintenance Program (CMP) requirements when applicable.
CEUs are awarded only for full participation and completion of all required components of an activity.
Eligibility for CEUs
To be eligible to earn CEUs for a workshop, webinar, or on-demand course, participants must:

Register for the activity prior to attending

Attend the full session(s) as scheduled

Participate in all required instructional components

Complete any required evaluations, assessments, or attendance verification
Partial attendance does not qualify for CEUs.
Attendance Verification
Attendance is verified using methods appropriate to the format of the activity, which may include:

Live attendance tracking for webinars and workshops
-
Active participation requirements
-
Completion of required forms or evaluations
-
Platform-generated completion records for on-demand courses
Participants are responsible for ensuring their attendance is accurately recorded.
Certificates of Completion
Certificates of completion are issued only after all requirements for the activity have been met.
Certificates will include:

Participant name
-
Activity title
-
Date(s) of participation
-
Total CEUs earned (if applicable)

Sponsor information
Certificates are typically issued electronically and made available within a reasonable timeframe following completion.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Refund eligibility, if offered, is clearly stated at the time of registration.
In general:

No CEUs are awarded for cancelled or missed activities

No CEUs are awarded if participation requirements are not met

Refunds are not guaranteed and may be subject to administrative fees

Technology and Access Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have:

A reliable internet connection

Compatible technology

Necessary accessibility accommodations requested in advance
Technical issues that prevent participation may impact CEU eligibility.
